3 WAYS TO WEAR GINGHAM!

Hello everyone,

For a while now I've sent all other prints (stripes, plaid...) on a mini vacation because I've been non-stop into the checkers. I have recently been inspired to wear it a couple different ways and fully make gingham a wardrobe staple. In the end, everyone is happy as I hear the rest of the pattern crew is having a blast at the Caribbeans hahaha!

There are countless ways to add gingham into your style, but today I'm going to share with you the three ways that work best for me. However, as I discover more gingham style options, I'll be sure to once again update YOU.

Like a true #trendsenthusiast, I can't hide the fact that I'm one who looks forward to discovering the newest trends each season, and later, happily hits the mall to make them part of my "everyday runway". Yep, every time I head out, I dress as if I'm about to walk the BIGGEST, most fashionable runway of my life!!! You've got to live it as if it's already happening, right?

So check this out and be sure to let me know what you think of this print and how do you enjoy wearing it the most?

1. Mix With Another Print

Gingham alone makes a strong statement, but that doesn't mean you can't mix it up from time to time by pairing it with another print. In fact just GO for it! You can add a subtle set of stripes, or like I did, a tiny polka dots print. This way the checkers are still the first thing you notice, but they're backed up by another playful print.

I love the way two different prints can get united and make an outfit that speaks to you and your personal style. If that isn't love, passion and understanding...I don't know what is? 😂

I've been styling my overalls gingham skirt so many different ways, but this here is by far my favorite because it's super unique, requires a bit more thought, unlike just pairing with a simple tee, which is also fine, but I like a bit of a challenge when it comes to figuring out interesting ways to wear prints. What do you prefer... would you go for mixing patterns or do you like to sticking to one at a time?

2. Add Gingham Accessories

If gingham isn't your "cup of coffee" and you can't see yourself wearing it full on, but still want to give it a shot, accessories is the way to go. Go for a mini checkered print bag or a cute pair of strappy sandals in this print. It will do just wonders; you'll feel both trendy and still true to yourself! That's what really it all comes down to!!!

I have this gingham cabby hat that I just pop-on when I want to go all out and be an agent undercover for a day LOL! I add a pair of sunglasses and you can never recognize me (best part). hahaha

As always, accessories are a game changer for me. Something I look forward to adding to my outfits! I may be weird, but it's the same excitement as when I walk by a store or a restaurant and hear my favorite song playing!!!

3. Stand Out in Gingham

Got a one of a kind gingham piece you love to dress up or layer no matter the season? I do! That's my favorite pattern skirt of all times. I wear it in the winter with tights and easily in the summer with a cami top or a tee. It's just meant to stand out!

You might have checkered print pants or a ruffled blouse that is the IT item for you, the one that you create your whole look around because you just love it lots and want it to take center stage. Everyone needs a "one of a kind" showstopper! What's yours?

How nice is this look? It gets me a bit more excited for the next season (even though I love summer) because I get to wear these same booties, fur coat and tights all over again. Really, as the seasons change, I mostly look forward to my wardrobe changing! (I know every fashionista would agree with me!)
